“The ‘Vivere con cura’ exhibition returns with the event ‘The School of Health, Nutrition, and Natural Remedies for Healthy Longevity’.
The culture of ‘good living slow’, which synthesizes the valorization of cultural differences as anthropological richness, is back to counterbalance the ongoing globalization that leads to the impoverishment and disappearance of the secular value of many refined cultures and knowledge.
The exceptional speaker will be Dr. Giovanni Canora, a naturopath, co-founder of the UNESCO chair in Salerno, and president of the Center for Studies of the Salernitan Medical School.
At the center of the event are the health precepts, still current and validated by WHO, for a healthy, long, and psychomotor-balanced life according to traditional Arab, Jewish, Greek, and Mediterranean medicine. A sociocultural and scientific journey that has its roots in the Middle Ages for the true ‘medicine of health’: the physician and the apothecary as educators of longevity and quality of life.
The event is scheduled for Monday, March 20, at 6 pm, at the municipal bibliomediateca in Via Roma, free admission.”
