We are very proud to announce that the Italian UNESCO Chair have been awarded the “Seal of Merits”. It is an award given by Italian Ministery of the University (MUR) for special merit in research and education programs.
The Italian UNESCO Chairs of the ReCUI network has been awarded because of their effort in
– UNESCO’s UNITWIN programme, promoting international cooperation and networking between universities and institutions worldwide;
– Development of scientific and educational actions to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda; through the Declaration of the Italian UNESCO Chairs for Sustainability which is an expression of the commitment and contribution of the Italian UNESCO Chairs in the development of knowledge in relation to the global environmental challenge in school and university education and inclusive ecological transition, which takes into account the different social and natural vulnerabilities in different contexts, as well as different cultures and migration processes.
